Prambanan Shiva Festival

When prayer and contemplation unite in the sacred celebration of the "Great Night of Shiva."

Commemorated once a year to honor Lord Shiva, this festival marks the pinnacle of the Prambanan Shiva Festival 2026 series at Prambanan Temple.

At the peak of Mahashivaratri night, prayers are offered amid 1,008 Dipa lights, 1,008 Damaru drum sounds, and 108 Genta bell chimes resounding in the night's sanctity.
